BOOKING CONDITIONS / PRIVACY POLICY


The room reservation made by the customer is paid when the keys are handed over. If you wish, you can request an advance invoice. You can also make a reservation electronically, you can pay the reservation immediately. 

When making a reservation and no later than 24 hours before the announced date of arrival, the customer must inform Hotelli Liera of the personal information required for all persons belonging to the same accommodation reservation as the customer. If the Customer does not provide this information as mentioned above, Hotelli Liera has the right not to confirm the Customer's reservation or cancel the reservation already made and return the price paid by the Customer to the Customer. In addition, all persons staying in the room are obliged to fill out passenger cards when handing over the keys. 

The reservation made by the customer becomes binding when the customer has paid for the room. 

The customer has the right to change or cancel his reservation free of charge no later than 24 hours before the start time of the reservation. The customer will receive a refund in the form of a bank transfer or a refund to a credit card. If the reservation is made electronically, a bank transfer will be made. Reservations can no longer be changed or canceled later than 24 hours before the arrival time. Separate booking conditions apply to groups, and changes/cancellations must be made directly through customer service. 

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that she has carefully familiarized herself/himself with the applicable cancellation conditions before making a reservation. 

In the case of billable reservations, failure to pay the advance payment is not a valid cancellation, but the cancellation must be notified to customer service separately within the cancellation conditions. 

USE AND RENTAL OF THE ROOM 

The room is available to guests from 2 pm on the day of arrival. The persons staying in the room are not allowed to let outside persons into the hotel premises. Hotelli Liera has the right, at its discretion, to remove a person from the hotel's premises who is not a Customer or a person who belongs to the same accommodation reservation as indicated in connection with the accommodation reservation. Hotel keys may not be handed over to third parties. The maximum number of persons staying is four (4) persons/room. The exception is families of five, where at least one child is under the age of six. 

The persons staying in the room must hand over the room by 12:00 on the day of departure. Hotel Liera is not responsible for items left in the rooms or in the hotel's public areas. Persons staying in the room must always check that the doors are locked when leaving the room or the hotel. 

CLEANING THE ROOM 

During the stay, the room is cleaned once during the reservation for reservations of more than five days. 

AGE LIMITS 

The customer must be of legal age. A minor may stay at the hotel, provided that at least one adult person stays in the same room. 

ORGANIZATIONAL RULES 

Hotelli Liera's aim is to offer its customers a comfortable and safe customer experience. For this reason and to ensure common comfort and safety, all persons staying must follow these rules of order. 

Please note that a procedure that violates these rules of order can lead to immediate removal from the hotel and liability for compensation. 

  1. The guest must follow good manners and behave appropriately in the hotel premises. The guests must not disturb other residents of the hotel or those living in the vicinity of the hotel with their behavior, for example by making noise, damaging property or disturbing in other ways. The guest is also responsible for the actions of any other person they let into the hotel.
  2. Property in the hotel rooms and in the hotel's public areas may not be damaged. Property in hotel rooms may not be taken out of the room. It is forbidden to bring dangerous or harmful objects or substances into the hotel premises. 
  3. Every guest has the right to peaceful accommodation. Especially after 10 p.m., the guest must avoid loud talking, listening to music or other noise that may disturb other guests. 
  4. Smoking and open fires (including burning candles, incense, etc.) in the rooms and other areas of the hotel are strictly prohibited. The person who acted in violation of the ban is responsible for all the resulting alarm, maintenance and cleaning costs. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony of the hotel rooms. 
  5. Bringing pets to the hotel premises is only allowed by agreement with customer service. In rooms where pets are allowed, the customer is obliged to compensate Hotelli Liera for possible damages. 
  6. It is forbidden to let unauthorized persons into the hotel premises. The exterior doors of the hotel and the doors of the hotel rooms must be kept locked to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the hotel premises. The guest must make sure that the front door of the hotel is locked after he leaves the door. 
  7. The keys given to the guest must be kept carefully and must not be given to third parties. For lost keys, we charge a new key set fee, according to the charges of the nearest locksmith.
  8. Hotelli Liera's accommodation facilities are only intended for personal accommodation. It is forbidden to engage in any kind of gainful activity in Hotelli Liera's premises without prior permission. 

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

These Booking Conditions do not weaken the Customer's rights based on mandatory consumer protection legislation. 

Hotelli Liera reserves the right to make changes to these Booking Conditions. Hotelli Liera tries to announce changes before they come into effect on its website or in another way it deems appropriate. The customer is obliged to ensure that he has familiarized himself with the valid version of the Booking Conditions before accepting his reservation.

3. Purpose of personal data processing 

It is a passenger register referred to in the Act on Accommodation and Catering Activities (308/2006) ("MaRaL"), in which passenger personal data stored is processed for the purpose of making a passenger report in accordance with Section 6 of the MaRaL, maintaining public order and safety, and preventing and investigating crimes, as well as compiling statistics . 

MaRaL obliges Hotelli Liera to identify its customers and store the data of the guests for 1 year. Hotel Liera has locked key storage lockers that can be opened manually with a 4-digit code, for the delivery of which the e-mail addresses and phone numbers of the guests are required.

The customer's personal data can be processed for the controller's customer service and direct marketing purposes, if the customer has allowed such processing. 

4. Data content of the register

The following passenger data according to Section 6 of MaRaL is stored in the passenger register and under the conditions mentioned therein: 

1) the passenger's full name and Finnish personal identification number or, if this is not available, date of birth and citizenship; 

2) full names and Finnish personal identification numbers of the spouse and minor children accompanying the passenger or, if they are not available, dates of birth; 

3) address information of the passenger; 

4) the country from which the passenger arrives in Finland (if the passenger's place of residence is other than Finland); 

5) the number of the passenger's travel document (such as passport and visa), except if the passenger is a citizen of a Nordic country or has a residence in Finland; 

6) Date of arrival and departure to the passenger's accommodation; mixed 

7) the purpose of the accommodation (such as leisure, work or another reason), if the traveler has indicated this. 

In addition, the passenger's e-mail address and mobile phone number are stored in the passenger register. 

Information stored in the passenger register is kept for one (1) year after entering it in the register, after which the passenger information is deleted. The electronic reservation system is Sirvoy Hotel Booking. The data of the electronic reservation system is stored in the same way as the passenger register.

5. Regular sources of information

The information is obtained from the registrants themselves when filling out the passenger declaration. In addition, data can be collected, stored and updated from the register of the registrar providing a publicly and freely available information service in order to meet the requirements according to MaRaL. 

6. Regular transfers of information

Personal data stored in the passenger register can be disclosed to the authorities for the purpose and scope as stipulated in the MaRaL law. Passenger data can also be stored on servers managed by the service provider used by the data controller to the extent required for data processing. 

7. Data transfer outside the EU or EEA

In principle, passenger data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA. However, the said transfer of data may be justified in cases permitted by law. 

8. Principles of registry protection

A. Manual material 

Materials containing manual personal data are stored in locked rooms. Material containing personal data cannot be accessed by external persons or employees whose duties do not include the relevant processing of personal data. 

B. Data processed electronically 

The data is technically protected and stored in a secure manner so that outsiders or employees whose duties do not include the relevant processing of personal data do not have access to the data. The data is located on a server located in a locked space and access to the space is limited. 

9. Rights of the registrant

A. Right of Inspection and Correction 

The passenger has the right to check the information about him stored in the register. Communications regarding the right of inspection must be made in writing and signed to the address mentioned in section 2. If there are errors or omissions in the registered information, the passenger can submit a request to correct the error to the person responsible for registry matters mentioned in section 2. The controller can also correct such information on its own initiative. 

B. Right of Injunction 

The passenger has the right to prohibit the controller from processing information about him/her for direct marketing and market and opinion research. In cases of prohibition and correction, the passenger can contact the registrar by e-mail or mail to the address mentioned in point 1 or to the person responsible for registry matters mentioned in point 2.

3. Purpose of personal data processing 

The purpose of the customer register is to enable the provision and development of the accommodation and other services provided by the controller at any given time and to ensure their quality. 

The personal data stored in the customer register, mentioned in section 5, can be processed in accordance with the personal data legislation for the following purposes: 

  • Establishing, implementing and maintaining a customer or other contractual relationship;
  • Providing, producing and developing the services of the registrar, communicating with the customer and other customer service purposes; 
  • Maintaining and ensuring order and security and investigating crimes and abuses; 
  • Invoicing and collection procedures and credit monitoring; 
  • Direct marketing, opinion and market surveys, research, statistics and analysis as well as other justified uses, such as profiling based on the choices made by the customer in order to provide more individual and versatile content and service to the customer. 

4. Data content of the register

The information stored in the customer register may vary according to the choices made by the customer. The information can include at least the following information about the customer: name, contact information, e-mail, date of birth and possible social security number, passport or identity card number, nationality, time and duration of the visit. 

Recording camera surveillance may be used in the public areas of the registrar's hotel. Camera surveillance is always reported separately. The recordings can only be used to maintain and ensure the order and security of the accommodation facilities and to investigate possible crimes and abuses. Camera surveillance recordings are stored for a maximum of two (2) weeks from the date of recording, unless storage for longer than this is justified due to mandatory legislation or an official investigation.

5. Regular sources of information

The information is obtained from the registrant herself/himself in connection with making an accommodation reservation and / or making a purchase and / or filling in a passenger declaration, as well as from the passenger register of the registrar. 

6. Regular transfers of information

Personal data stored in the customer register can be disclosed for the purposes mentioned in section 4. Individual customer information is not disclosed to third parties. Information can also be disclosed to the authorities in situations defined by law and/or for the purpose stipulated by law. 

7. Data transfer outside the EU or EEA

In principle, the customer's data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA.
